See Through
the snow trickles downmy eyes blinking back tearsas they try to freeze down my facethe cold empty ache spreading
through me once again
as another child walksright through melike i am not even thereand sometimes i wonderif i really am there
because if no one can see you
if no can hear you
do you even exist?
Jack fighting the shadows
once i heard someone at school quote one of my popular text posts it was terrifying
BFF: Grandmother I need to talk to you
Grandma: [concerned voice] What? What is it? Are you sick?
BFF: No, no. Grandma. I'm gay.
Grandma: What?
BFF: I'm gay Grandma. I have a girlfriend now.
Grandma: [relieved voice] Oh honey, is that all? I thought you had cancer. Anytime someone needs to tell me something they are sick. Who's your girlfriend, when is her birthday? I'll bake her a pie.
“There he lay, a vast red-golden dragon, fast asleep; thrumming came from his jaws and nostrils, and wisps of smoke, but his fires were low in slumber.”

30 Day Comic Book Challenge
So I let this slide for a couple weeks, but I’m bringing it back and will finish it, I swear! Because I actually have goods answers for all of them.
Day 9: Most touching comic book/comic scene book scene.
I’m a big fan of Dick and Babs; I think they’re perfect for each other and will basically cover my ears and go “lalalala not listening” whenever they end up dating other characters. I just find their friendship and snark incredibly sweet and some of their scenes after Barbara has been paralyzed to be really heartbreaking. The scene in Birds of Prey where Dick takes a paralyzed Barbara to an empty circus ring and up on the trapeze so that she can fly again will forever be one of my favorites. It’s such a sweet, perfect gesture for Barbara. And it’s so bittersweet too - Barbara ends up loving it but it’s also a big reminder of what she used to be able to do and how she’s a different person than she used to be. I think it’s a quintessential scene for both characters.
